Game crash on exit

Recently put a new build together, reinstalled sins rebellion... Tried to change the graphics settings (resolution/refresh rate etc), game crashed could not get it to launch again, some weird error message popped up I cannot remember what it was as this was a few weeks ago. Anyway, luckily I had just made a restore point so I did that and then it worked fine. Now whenever I exit the game it goes to a black screen and I have to hard reset my computer. Any ideas? Is there a crash log I could upload to help diagnose? Other than that the game seems to run okay, except for when I zoom in and out there's stutter, like frame loss or something when I run at 2x speed that was never there on my old build.
