I purchased SOASE on amazon used. It has a product key. I tried to register the gae but the product key is registered to another account. So how can I register the game?
You'll have to buy the game from the Stardock store in order to get a new key. I had to do the same thing when I got a used copy of Demigod as keys can't be transfered between accounts (as I was told at the time).
Buying PC games used is pretty much ALWAYS a bad idea in this day and age.
If you wait you can get them for similar prices on digital sales on steam, GOG etc. And you will then be able to download the game as much as you want.
What version of the game did you get exactly? For North America for example, the latest expansion Rebellion has never had a physical release.
You could try to email Stardock support with a photo of your purchase/key and hope they'll be nice and give you a new key. They don't have to do that however.
In addition, I do not believe Stardock physical releases come with any on disc DRM. So you can at least play version 1.0 of the game without issue, unlike some other companies.
The game i bought was the original sins. I have sent a message to stardock. If I have to by the game new...i will. Hopefully they can help since I had already purchased the game . This was a few years ago, and the game was lost. That is why i got the used version.
Well, if you have a copy of the original Sins registered on your Stardock account you should be able to get it that way.
