Reconnect after ICO-disconnect?

Hi to all,

me and a friend of mine often play ICO-Matches against AI-Opponents. I host the game because my PC is more powerfull and i use a faster internet-connection.  The problem ist that he is quite often disconnected in mid-game (about 1,5-2 hours of play)......well, i assume that he´s disconnected because the Network-Tab in the ingame-menu tells me so. Prior to that video output stops for about 10 seconds. Both I-Net-connections work fine at that time, we tested that immediately after the disconnect. I allready wrote a ticket and stardock support told me that there was a server issue which could provoke such a behaviour. They told me it should be resolved, but frankly, it isn´t.

But that isn´t the major problem.....the real problem ist that my friend can´t rejoin the game: he´s told that there is no free slot available. Maybe that´s because the AI takes over control over his troops. Isn´t it possible to rejoin a game after a disconnect?
