Think on this: Paul McCartney, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi are raking in vast sums of money even though they are totally passe. Dr. Dre based not on actually creating music anymore but a music service or system. I've read that his headphones really aren't that good and are highly overpriced. Most of the others well I had a friend once who used this phrase to describe a certain newspaper so I'm changing the wording for this: They vomit their bile and call it music. Some of these people I've never even heard of. Pop music is dead.
You mean that isn't anything more than a kids joke? If it's a kids joke, ok sure. If people take that seriously though, well...people are f'ing stupid. When I look behind at the generations behind mine, fewer and fewer of them look like they're trying to actually have a future. More and more it looks as though if you aren't born into money chances are you'll never have any even if you do follow the American Dream and work hard for it all your life. These kids coming up though....one good thing about getting old, at least I'll be dead by the time they're in charge of things. Looking at the future of our world does make one wonder if it's even worth having kids to carry on your name. I want to think it is, but the future of humanity and even the planet looks shaky at best if you ask me, and don't even get me started on geopolitics. Sooner or later history's idiot will step onto the world's stage and push the button and then the next few generations after that will be starting over in a radiated hell hole.
