Adding Ships

So I have 4 ships that have been designed in 3DS Max 9. 

What do I need to do to have them incorporated into SINS?  I know how to edit the entity files to add them as a list of ships that can be built. I just don't know if I need to do anything special like where the beam weapons or bullets come from. Pretty much want to know how the developers designed and added the ships to the game.

These are four new ships in conjunction to the ones that are part of the game. 

I will test these new ships under the capital ship section for now.  But I will create a new card for IX or miscellaneous and place them in there.  Once that works I will modify the research tree to add them there and any special research for them.

Download the forge tools from the downloads section. The tools themselves are long obsolete but there is a folder with pdf documentation on how to set up models. Just make sure you use the ConvertXSI program in your Rebellion install directory, again all the actual programs in that download section are obsolete.

Myfist had a website with the documentation online but the host shut it down. He is working on putting it up at a different site.

The modeling tutorials start with the tools we use

then use the Modeling Tutorials drop-down menu highlighted at the top to follow the steps required. Just the Scale page is still blank.
