Game hangs in Task Manager

So I got the game from Amazon. It is in DVD format.

Whenever I start the game nothing happens. When I look at task manager, I see the executible running, but I don't see the game on the screen.

How do I fix this?

I would try registering the game with us here: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/login?page=register

Then you could download the latest version of the game on your My Downloads page. This should install just fine.

I can't seem to register the game. My game is called Rebellion. That is not an option on the pull down menus. Otherwise, the game is rejection my product key.
