Getting back the menu bar in Task Manager, Windows 7 Pro.

In my Windows 7 Pro, I currently have the Task Manager without a menu bar, which means that I can't access the other windows apart from Applications.  This means that if a program has partially closed but is still resident in memory, I can't access the Processes bar to terminate it completely.  What button do I need to press to bring back the menu bar in Task Manager?  I would be very appreciative, since it's been like this for ages.  It's time to get some help to fix it for good. =)

Sounds like you have a system problem StevenAus, as I do not know of any setting in Win 7 that could even turn the menu bar in Task Manager off, or on.

It sounds like you have double clicked on the client area of taskmanager.  When you do this it removes the titlebar, menubar and tabs.  To fix this double click somewhere on the grey part of the window and it should go back to normal.
