Does anyone doubt the "95%" number?

I'm referring to the fact that apparently 95% of players have never tried MP. It seems really suspicious given the surge in player counts in MP after each steam sale.

I'm referring to the fact that apparently 95% of players have never tried MP. It seems really suspicious given the surge in player counts in MP after each steam sale.

How many people do you think purchase the game during the $8/$10 sales?  I don't know, but a couple thousand does not seem like an unrealistic number.  The surge in player counts isn't all that great, perhaps a couple hundred people.

What counts as "MP"?  ICO only, or LAN games with friends, too?

I doubt it's quite 95%, but I do not doubt it is high.
