Multiplayer Bug

Hello, at first my english is not very good, beacus i am from Thailand, so pleas dont hate me if i do any misstakes 

at Friday, i was go to buy me Sins of a Solar Empire, in my City, for me in My little brother, we pay 40$
but after i was home, i see the guy sell me a crack, and i had think he sell me the right thing, so i am not sure if it is okay to ask for help, but i have care my money for 2 months, to buy it, beacus i dont have so much, so its relly sad for me that now i cant play it in Mulitplayer


When i try to play multiplayer, there allways stand  "this map needed follow DLC: String not found" it dont matter what for a map it is, i have try all maps, all size, alls options T_T

but it dont work, when i try to play then with my little brother, he can join my room, but then when we start he get kicked, beacus of this error, and the game is finish

 

 

can someone pleas help me ?

With 40$ (assuming US ones) you could have bought almost four licenses at the last Steam sale. (It was thirty-something euros for me for a 4-pack.) Alas getting friends to play Sin:R is more of a challenge than buying/gifting them licenses because of the MP bugs, but alas not the one you mentioned...

If you didn't buy Sins Rebellion from Steam, GameStop, GamersGate, The Humble Store, or the devs directly, it's almost certainly a pirated version. (I assume you're talking about Rebellion because the prior games had no DLC.) If your pirate seller is willing to give your money back, that's your best option. You can probably buy two licenses on Steam with that money, even when Sins is not on sale.
