Vasary fleet can just jump to my homeworld

Today I played a game online (ffa with diplomacy on) and a Vasari opponent just jumped from his world to my homeworld - in 1 jump, ignoring the starlanes.

So I sent my own fleet back and managed to repel the attacker.

But after some time he did it again, with a big fleet of bombers.

So I hoped he would just finish my empire, but then he left cause an ally of mine was getting close to his worlds...

So I was watching his fleet movinf back and forth, while I was just stuck there, incapable of following.

At that point I left the game, cause I think it's just completely lame. I don't intend to join games anymore with that race in it. There's just nothing you can do against something like that and it's just ridiculous to see the enemy flying around while you are basically stuck where you are.

I don't like multiplayer much. It's all about rushing early game and nothing else. And late game you get this ...this is just no fun.

Advent: If advent have economy to build 3 Deliverance engines and as long as vasari have no kosutra they won the game. Only thing that could save anyone is vasari mobility trough phase gates with their hit and run tactic.

I'm not sure what this obsession with Deliverance engines is Greg. I have only seen them used once in a 5s game (versus 1 in 10 for novas, 1 in 20 for kostura) and they have had no impact. On the other hand, just the "fear factor" that novas and kosturas cause is often enough for the opposing team to gg.

I heavily disagree with your opinion of TEC losing to advent late-game. Advent's eco is worst in the game, and pervasive economy alone means the tec player will be getting more income from that then the opponent's trade ports. Advent synergy means nothing when their carriers are being out-produced 4-1, hw and trade planets getting obliterated to inexpensive novas, and battleball fleets unable to attack due to dual RB starbases blocking off phase lanes.

I find it depends a lot on skill, at low-mid skill TEC>Advent early game but vs High skill player Advent is a lot harder to stop imo. When playing against the top tier players i always struggle a lot more as advent players will just split their forces and hit and run you to death. While its ofc possible with TEC its not as effective and easier to stop imo.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Cobalts and disciples both have the same speed. Tec also has better tier 1 research, whether its civic or military (repair, hull/armor, modular arch, metal).

TL vettes are also incredibly nasty. I was very surprised at how useful their debuff is for killing capital ships.

Try it. Build 3 of them (3 is minimum) in a game where you are against player that fortified himself. And keep hitting 1 by one at enemy hw. 2 - 3 salvo and hw is gone and surrounding planets are on 50% allegiance. And there is no defence against it none at all. With DE you don't even need to attack and you can win a game. 10% instant allegiance change and about 8% per warhead unless he commits ridiculous amount of logistic slots to temple. 

Novaliths you can AUX gov and they become useless. Kosutras well them alone they don't do anything and if you fortify planet well enough you can still kill fleet.

Cheaper, -2 sec build time, easier to spam, less supply, work better without a cap, DPS upgrades taken as priority when tec goes for armor, +10% extra base dps as well. It just seems the way the game is played from what i see, im probably missing a few points as well.

Disciples actually build slower than any other LF and they are closer to 12% more effective dps wise when looking at comparable fleets.

What do you mean build slower? i thought it was -2 of a normal LF? LF - 24 and Disciple 22.

Well the Disciple is 20 seconds. Cobalt is 22. Skirmisher is 31.

So I don't know if Zombie meant the other way around?

Disciples are 4 supply at 22 seconds build.

Cobalts are 5 supply at 24 seconds build.

Build 200 supply of Cobalts and Disciples.

It will take 1100 seconds to build 50 disciples and 960 seconds to build 40 Cobalts.

lol at that logic by zombie, while it makes sense its totally irrelevant. You and your opponent have same amount of time to spam as much as possible. You ll have more discs than he has LFs.

Thats ok i give out lols for free at no charge, im nice like that! Even though you are missing the point* once again in one of the earlier posts.

At least you are safe on the forums, as your logic really doesnt do so well online.
