Entrenchment

Me and a friend bought SoaSE and Entrenchment a number of years ago. On reinstalling with the GameStop app it says our version numbers are 1.195.080 and 1.055.051. Both of our clients say the exact matching values. When I click on the Updates tab there is also nothing listed.

When we go to login to the IronClad Games multiplayer within Entrenchment it says our game is not currently updated. I figured alright, that's fine, we can just play on LAN. On LAN when he joins my game it says that our versions are not the same. WHAT?! it says right in the stupid GameStop app that they are identical.

What can we do?

No I don't have money to update to Trinity or Rebellion. Our games use to work together, and now they don't.

I think for LAN purposes, you were allowed to install the same game on 2 more machines, if that helps any.
And for LAN I would use direct connect

A dev should pop in shortly.

Thanks, but we each own our own games and we each purchased entrenchment. It is just saying that neither is updated and that they are also not the same version.

We tried LAN via direct connection and also via VPN. Both return the error: Your version does not match the host's.

Been a while but, did you both install from your own CD? If you did can you uninstall and download the same copies for each from GameStop? Or you may be able to both install from the newer CD but use your own CD keys.

Just spit ballin' 'till a dev comes, they visit here often.

the new Stardock Service, should be able to login with same ID as Gamestop

We don't have direct downloads for anything but Trinity, but if GameStop gives you trouble you can shoot an email to [email protected] and they should be able to provide some alternative.

As to the non-updated version, there was an issue some months back where GameStop didn't have the current installer for the individual Entrenchment installer, but I thought that was addressed (and .051 is the correct version). Shoot a mail to support as above and they should be able to get to the bottom of it.
