Mining base spam

Is there any way to turn this off? I don't particularly care to see if somebody else's mining base is fussy with them and beaming their resources somewhere else. Especially since it's every. single. turn.

Not as such, no.  You can aggressively tale control of asteroid mines using influence starbases, or blow them to smithereens if you're at war.  Barring those options you'll just have to suffer. :(

I think he's actually referring to the messages you get about mining bases defecting or threatening to defect.

That's what I mean - if they're under your control or blown to smithereens they can't defect and so you won't get any more messages.  There's just no other way, except maybe passing the mining loyalty law, and even then when planets are culture flipped or invaded you'll get it.
