Fail to join game : different exe but same version.

Hi there,

After hours of research about my problem, i can't manage to solve it by myself so i come here.

I and a friend are using sin of solar empire : rebellion update 1.1.4480 but we cannot manage to play together. We're having a  "different .exe" error, or a "not same .data" error.

I'm using a french langage mod, and he's using a german one. Is it possibly conflicting?
