Minidumps

Hello, hope I can get some help with this.  I have Rebellion and my game minidumps every hour or so.

I've already browsed through all number of solutions: not running Rebellion through Steam, lowering the graphics settings to the absolute minimum, etc, but I am still getting them.

 

However, I recently made an observation directly related to the minidump problem.  I started playing a game and began periodically saving the game manually.  I saved a game about 1 minute before an Advent Deliverance Engine Beacon hits one of my planets.  When the Beacon strikes my planet, the game minidumps.  And it does this every single time.

How can I fix this problem?

I suspect you are using a mod, am I right? In a previous (not the latest) version of Enhanced 4X mod (which changed the Advent Superweapon effect) upon impact the game minidumped. If this is the case just download the newer version found online. If not, I have no idea what can be wrong, others may help you out.

Make sure you have the latest version, but if you already have, disabling the mod may help, OR ask this question in the MODS part of the forums, so creators of Distant Stars mod may help you, and indicate you have this mod in the title if you repost it there.
