I purchased OD over 48 hours ago, and still have not received the software, registration, or anything!!!!! After 24 hours of not receiving anything, not even a purchase receipt, I sent an email to support. That was 24 hours ago, and still haven't heard a thing yet!!!!! What is going on there?????????? Are you people on strike or what?????? I purchase tons of software on the internet, NEVER have to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes to get what I paid for, but with you people, 48 hours and still WAITING, is just plain ridiculous. If I don't hear something VERY SOON, I will contact my credit card company and tell them that I have not received what I paid for, and to cancel the payment. I see in the forum that there were other people with the same problem, and most companies, ones that care, would not wait this long to FIX the PROBLEM!!!!!! I hope this gets to the RIGHT people SOON, or my order will be cancelled, or I should say, I will notify my credit card to NOT pay Stardock.

i renewed my OD subscription as i wanted to use windowsblinds etc-so far i only have iconpackager. have i ordered the wrong stuff?

Another noob who is confused and has a few questions.  I found Stardock due to Windows 8 not having a START button on the desktop.  I bought Start8 and  ModernMix.   (Great stuff! :grin:

I found Fences and was going to buy and the webpage compared Fences with Object Desktop.  I'm curious now...  I see it includes a subscription for 1 year.  I understand its for 1 year of updates and any other goodies added during that time.  But what I can't find (I must be blind) is:

1. How much the renewal cost. 

2.  I clicked on the link to see if I qualified for a discount and I did, but now the same link is saying I do not qualify.  Why?  I saved a screen shot, but accidentally closed the window and when I navigated back to the same page, to contemplate ordering, it now said I do not qualify.  ????

3.  Does anyone have any real world figures to show how much memory this entire suite of software uses and how much all the eye candy slows down a PC?  I have a new ASUS i7 Windows 8 PC with 8GB ram and aan NVidia video with 1GB ram. 

 

Thanks for the help.  Especially with #2 above.  I was about ready to buy for approx $35, but for $50 and just buying 2 of the titles, its abit steep.

 

 

I figured out #2, I was looking at the upgrade from MODERNMIX, not Fences when it told me I had a discount I could apply.

Very light memory footprint no matter how many apps from the suite you run at any one time and no detectable impact on performance or speed (absent unforeseen/unusual/rare conflicts, of course).

Hmmm....sounds good.  I'm all for Object Desk top, but see out of th enice list of features, some I can't use like window blinds. 

 

I got a credit for having ModernMix already, but I also bought Start8, do I not get a credit for that too? Or does this mean I will have two licences for it and can install Start8 on my next Windows 8 PC?

You can install your original on a second PC.

I'm sure someone will fix it for you...;)

But fear not...you could have been like me....was buying an OD sub for someone else earlier this year...and inadvertently added another year to my own.....only thing was....prior it was to expire in 2019 ....and now, with one more year added....it's expiry is 2013....;)

Sometimes computers hate me...;)

Your account looks to be correct. When you hit the 'Subscriptions' tab in Stardock Central, you should be seeing it expiring a year from today. Alternately, you can also sign in here https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products to view your products and expiration. If you are not seeing any of that, please let me know.

Strardock are closed for the 4th of July holiday.

I will attempt to make someone aware of this that has access to account information and can check what is causing the delay.

Is the email for your PayPal the same one for your login here under the zenoloc name?

If not then you may need to merge your accounts here - https://www.stardock.com/support/registrations/

Put the PayPal email in the Source field and the zenoloc email in the Destination filed.

If the emails are the same then you will need to wait until a Stardock employee with account access can check.

I have manually corrected the date for you. You will see this when you sign into your account now.

I have the same renewal problem. I've gotten all my acknowledgements, ( PayPal receipt, order confirmation pdf, etc. ) but no usable download link in Stardock Central or My Downloads. Please fix ASAP.
