Hey guys i have some great news!

Galactic Civilizations II : Ultimate edition is compatible with windows 8, and it runs more stable and fastr than on windows 7!

i installed galcivii on my pendrive and runned it on a recently installed windows 8 computer and it runned faster and stabler than on windows 7!

 

I've done this on my hardware course today and it worked!

Just wanted to share this info with the community!

Does that mean it works on WIndows 8 tablets?

Sure didn't work for me. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8 x64 Pro. When I run Gal Civ2, it starts and lets me configure the game but when it starts to launch, Gal Civ2 crashes. Not sure what to do here. I am not going back to Windows 7 as wonderful as it was. We need to keep moving forward with the latest windows which is Windows 8.

Any ideas on what to do to make it work with Windows 8 64 bit?
