Phyllis Diller.... Gone at 95

Pioneered the path for female comediennes

Phyllis Diller, comedienne, pianist, mother to five children gone today after her latest fall... one of the earthiest, funniest, most raucous characters ever. She was the first to get a face lift and tell about it openly.

I have so little money in my bank account that my scenic checks show a ghetto.

Robert Redford once asked me out. I was in his room.

My mother-in-law had a pain beneath her right breast. It turned out to be a trick knee.

RIP funny lady.  -_-

As if that weren't enough, Scott Mackenzie (When you go to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair") died today at 73, and

William Windom (the doctor on "Murder She Wrote") have also passed away.

R.I.P. Scott Mackenzie and William Weldon.

It's sad that they're gone but I can’t help thinking how much happiness they brought into countless lives. Most of us are lucky if we touch a dozen or so lives, must be awesome to touch as many lives as these have. May they all rest in peace.

You can add Tony Scott to the list as well.

"Director Ridley Scott was seen boarding a plane from London to Los Angeles after receiving the news his younger brother, Tony Scott, director of such Hollywood hits as "Top Gun," "Days of Thunder" and "Beverly Hills Cop II," had died Sunday after jumping from a Los Angeles County bridge."

It's getting to the point where we should just start a "Deaths greatest hits" post to keep them all together. x_x
