Siddy, despite your hatred of us, some of us do make an active attempt to listen to you guys despite the mud slinging you guys do and try to respect your opinions, but it is rather difficult when you're attacking us like that.

I have absolutely no problem with people playing game however they like. But I won't pretend that comp stompers can talk about balance on same level as ICO players just not to hurt their egos. They just can't.
But don't you know we are not cool and therefore we don't matter and so we should just sit back and let the real pros dictate how the game should be :p
Listen, you degenerate imbecile, your SP experience is not affected by one iota regardless what changes will happen in MP sphere.
You can either present arguments that hold water or you can continue to spew crap and people that know stuff will continue to point your shit out for you. The more you do the latter, the more the MP crowd get annoyed with you. It seems we have reached critical mass with release of this, oh so well balanced, game. MP community is clearly having enough of this crap.
I dont come and tell you how you should play your single player games. I am not calling you pussy if you cant beat 9 Cruel AI alone (altho i can). I just expect you to return the favor and not tell us how we should balance multi player.
I don't have an issue with getting told that my ideas won't work, I have an issue with my ideas getting discounted because I play primarily SP. If an MP guy says that my idea X is dumb and won't work, that's different if you ask me than blowing up at me because I play SP.
Siddy, you do realize you're insulting the guy who keeps trying to defend you guys. I don't mind disagreeing or being wrong. Outright dismissal is my problem.

I didn't even know you were mainly SP player until I started to suspect it from the brain fart-like ideas you and the likes of you keep presenting.
Players are not AI, they learn, adapt and capitalize on your mistakes. Something you are not familiar with if you play only SP.
I don't inteview everyone I talk to if they play on ICO or not. I played this game for 2 years, quite extensively. Sometimes I just don't want to be involved in 1 page discussion about an idea, which I can clearly see is based on several wrong assumptions.

Jokes aside, if you dont want to nerf vasari, at least buff tec and advent so they have some sort of late game mobility, flexibility and fleet sustain that can come close to vasari.
I remember i used to do advent battleball with guardians and progens, or malice/briliance combo. Now, only remotely good ability that can change fleet battles outside vasari arsenal, is maza mb.
Vasari have best cap ship abilities bar none. Advent synergies are either nerfed or become obsoleat thanks to phase missiles.
The irony is that advent vs tec is balanced. Anything vs either vasari faction is lame as a duck.

Beyond that, I actually put quite a bit of stock in what you guys have to say about balance. I really do. I trust that you know the gameplay at high skill levels better than I do and have no issues with that. When attempting to come up with ideas for balance changes, I almost always start with what the general consensus from the MP community is. I really do think you guys know balance well. I disagree sometimes, and with some of you, that's quite often. Doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion though. In fact, taken from my balance thread...

We agree on the foundation and you guys are great at pointing out the problems. True, it's often not in the most polite way possible, but still. Once you guys find issues, I believe the community as a whole can have input on the subject which of course you're free to critique (or insult as you seem to prefer 
) the ideas presented. You guys make a good review board for the balance of the game, actually, you're the best we've got at the job.
Fact is, a lot of us are trying to help. We agree with you guys about imbalance and seek to fix it. Some things you guys won't like, some of your ideas we won't like, but there are a lot of good suggestions that come from both sides. True, the SP has more fanboism comments than the MP community posts, but then the MP also rages more, so a good chunk is lost in the translation.
In all honesty, I'm just doing what I think will help the game most, and right now, that thing is trying to at least slightly reduce hostilities between the people in MP and SP crowds.
Fair enough. There are threads I don't get into simply because I think the ideas are terrible and hope that by not posting, maybe I can expedite their deaths a bit.

Once the big problems with the Vasari are ironed out, I'd be fine with buffing Advent synergies and whatnot. Just saying this for the record.

You arn't helping the situation either. Everytime something like this comes down, I see you swooping in and giving your own rant at how "shit" the MP community is as the MP does to the SP. If you are gonna run around beliveing that you're better than the rest of us then at least act like it.

I can name 4, and that's counting a banned account...don't judge the entire group of MP people based on the attitudes of four people unless you want the entire SP community to be judged as well...
It's no secret who the "Big Meanies" are on the forums...don't assume all MP people are like them anymore than you'd assume all SP guys are stupid noobs....

If you are going to play on ICO now is the time...lots of new and inexperienced people...
Not all MP are like Siddy, though in a game of 10 people, having 1 asshat is quite noticeable...
Still though, ICO can be quite fun, just got to find the right people...you can always take your LAN friends online, then if you have an asshat at least you have a friendly in your game...

I would stick to lan games or play only with friends its very competitive here. And this IS the norm I have seen nothing to indicate otherwise.
@rover Im just calling what I see if they don't like it they can try and change their behavior.
I suppose I try actually try out MP before I pass any judgement. I'm sure that most people are friendly, or at least aren't overly nasty.
