why won't the devs or yarlen tell us about anything, I understand the advent have just been put in the beta but goddammit i wan't my favorite race back, my rant is simple, there are not enough updates on the matter, i also understand the devs are working hard at this title but they should at least give us some insite on whats going on, i have been waiting on this game for years to come out, i was so happy when i found out about the beta, it just about made my day until i found out i was only able to play tec and the advent, this pisses me off, at least give us somthing be reasured about.

Right. Putting aside replies within threads, there were... what, *8* dev journals for FE in the month April alone? Then another seven threads started in the "Sneak Peek" section that month.

This is getting off track, though, I was just saying how much more quiet it's been than previous Ironclad/Stardock releases. I'm not saying they're not doing a good job or aren't working their butts off (I'm sure they are), just that they've been far more quiet. :)

Also, Yarlen, I can understand your desire not to get into debate quagmires but for me, a simple weekly-ish update would be really cool as to what the Team is working on, what kind of feedback they're interested in, any little news tidbits that you can share, etc.

Part of the Desperation might have been moved to Suffusion, but not exactly sure about that. I do not think this particular thing was a bad move, since Suffusion and Desperation were IMHO fairly similar abilities...

 

Yep, that is the case, only Desperation remians as a passive skill. Which is a nice buff.

 

But it is bugged currently and does not increase in effectiveness with levels and remains at level one even though I had it on level 3. It shows the new level during level up but the total does not increase and the passive bonus the VLT got in combat remained the same as on level 2 (2% damage reduction and +15% damage with maximum stacking)

 

I don't really know what the phase stabilizer on the VLT  is supposed to do. In the description is written, that it allows reinforcements via Dark Fleet even if you have only your capitol or titan. When you activate it, it does nothing and if it serves as a phase stabilizer it only works in the same solar system as normal. The MAW workes as usual.

 

Tomorrow I will test what happens, if I scuttle all my planets.

guys is there something wrong with my pc or is it the game, I turn my effects to max and the starbase for the tec and advent look terrible, the texture look very grainy and low rez, could anybody confirm this! -_- -_-

We want daily updates!  If all you did was stand at the water cooler and tell dirty jokes, share a few!  If you sat and played minesweeper to see who could get the office high score, we want to know what the high score was so we can best it!  

Don't you devs know that we hang on every word that comes out of your fingertips?  What cool ideas are you looking at?  What's being updated for next patch?  Whowhat where when why and how many?

 

These are our burning questions that set fire to our loins and no amount of Thirst Quencher can fix!

As a game dev, trust me, there isn't always anything to really report.  You report stuff when you can, which they do.

More importantly, in my experience, players don't get told things because individual devs aren't sure what's safe to tell the players so to be sure, we have to wait for the lead to go on the forums and talk about it.  Maybe Starclad isn't like that, but what I've done is.

OMG Did I REALLY just advocate Twitter?  I HATE Twitter.  Though I'd get it if the Sins development team used it.
