I'm not greedy. I don't want everything yesterday, I want it today!

I would rather see less bugs. Go ahead an release on Friday if it will improve game longevity. People are going to be very critical. This is the internet you know.

Tight doesn't mean "release on Friday"... tight means "release in 2 weeks".

Sure, Mark Rein.  We all know you actually mean six months!

I saw heaps of potential in E:WoM, and loved dinking around with the units.  I'm sure looking forward to the FE Beta 3.  I'm holding off on trying it until it gets updated, so I'll be checking back regularly!  Best wishes y'all.

Im off work today, so i hope they release it. I don't mind waiting, but statements like " I'd rather wait for a less buggy release " come off as serious knob wetting.. when you take into account how buggy the current version can be.

Don't delay it! DONT DO IT! WANT NOW!  :d

No no, take your time and do it right. That's what we're expecting. There's no gain otherwise.

Why shouldn't they listen to us? Because half don't know what they want, and the other half want everything yesterday.

They shouldn't listen to us because we don't know jack shit about developing a multi-million dollar PC game.

they never asked us how to devolp a game

and in fact we never tried to teach them how to do things

but still our thoughts matter, or they should

world is change, this is the era where ppl communicate lot and lot more

this is no TV era where ppl is hypnotized in a single channel communication where you only absorb what few ppl tell you

this is mass media in the deepest way, EVERYBODY listen to everybody

you listen to me

i listen to you

most of my friends listen to  me and i listen to them

companies dont have a choice, who doesnt listen to ppl just make shit like civ5 who had half (or even 2/3 ) of the community not happy at all

and its cool btw, because when i do realize something i listen to others and why i buy something you realize i can tell something, thats how it should be

A comment in general... You are right. People talk and talk. Most of the time they don´t know what they are talking about, but they THINK they know what they are talking about. Everybody has an opinion about everything. And then... they call THIS communication. Its not. Its just verbal bullshit, absolutly meaningless.

I wonder it's better of work in dark before bring in light. What I mean, it's better of working and not tell someone untill it's done then bring out but on other hand might be miss new iden or better way, it's just double sword, So company might work much better by feedback. Every choice had a downside, I guess. some said it's win-win, but I'm not sure, if win and there is cost for that.

If I get enough collected, I am willing to drive there and make a scene in their parking lot.   O:)

Maybe I'm just outdating myself, but in my younger days when I said "It's going to be tight", that meant something was going to be kick ass.

"Dude, that car is tight!"

Of course I'm 36 so it's possible that most of the forum junkies are to young to have heard it that way.

Then you'll be happy to know that Jon Shafer, former lead designer for civ5 is involved in FE as well, lol. I don't agree with you, though. I like Civ5.

But in this context, they are actually asking that we communicate our opinion of what we're seeing to them, not as experts, but as players that we are. And ideas, etc. Obviously, not everyone will be of the same mind. But that's where their knowledge, expertise and vision intervene to filter what's useful and what's not.

Better to listion to the many opinion of the masses, then to just listen to the experts on how to make game for experts by experts that is exsatly the same has every outher game of it genra. Since that is the correct way to do things. some time it better to do some wrong and apeel to a markit that is small but not all ready devided up many times.

Thats right colbert. In this particular context we were asked for ideas and feedback. ddd888 post was a general post and so was mine. :)

What i don´t like about the "They have to listen to us" - attidute is the following...

I think many us remeber the "glory days" where games were made from gamers for gamers. Both sides were on the same level. Now we have big companys, who see us only as customers in a bad way. "They have the money and we want it". The (understandable) reaction now is to turn it around "We have the money, so do what we want. You HAVE TO listen to us". Both attidutes try to put down one side for his one good. And thats not the way to go (ofcourse, just my opinion ;) )
