Question about Objectdock

I have two versions installed.............

Just a few minutes ago when I powered up my laptop I got an error message saying Object dock encountered a problem and had to close. So I called up the crash report, viewed it then clicked close. It did not close. I had to use task manager to close it. Started it up again and the Nocturne dock I had up was gone so I click on open background folder and to my surprise none of the docks I installed were there, it was blank. open up settings and sure enough all gone except what comes with it. Next open control panel and I discovered there are two versions of Objectdock installed. Objectdock plus version 2.01 and Objectdock plus 2 version 1.00. Which one should be there? I recently upgraded through Stardock Central and that was the 1.00 version. What is going on that I don't know about?

Take a look and see where your OD skins are. I'd wager they're in the right place and the wrong version opened when you booted up... but if not:

Open the older version and change its config not to start on boot.

Make a shortcut to the most recent version and after pinning it to your taskbar, open the config window of that version.  See if the skins are there. If not, copy them the Backgrounds folder of that most recent version and configure it to start with boot.

Should take care of things.

Thank you Doc. Can I take out the older one? I don't see a need for two of them.

Funny you mentioned this as I didn't bother. Just got a new computer a month ago. Brand new now so there wasn't any programs on it except for the ones that came with it. I installed ObjectDockPlus2. Funny thing is I have ObjectPlus and ObjectDockPlus2 folders. Everything in both folders such as docks, etc.

Not really sure which one is running but think it's the ObjectDockPlus (not 2) Working fine so I left it alone only because I have my docks setup and don't want to loose what I have. Think there is a way to say my dock setup so will have to look around for it.

Hmmm.  I think we may have to look at the latest installer.   X(
