This month I went a little Metro-ish. The underlying OS is Windows 7 and that's about as close to Windows 8 as I'm going to get.

The Wall is a neat one I found on Wallbase.net (http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/764819).

The blind is Win8 Metro from Stardock, the NeXuS is Atmospherica with my SD software subdock open. Tiles to match the WB and Jeff's Bins running.

The shop is "Facepalm" undergoing some modification (wink, wink).

After all these years of skinning, SKS still scares the hell out of me.....

Oh well, maybe someone will take the task on like you said.  It would need some changes, a little more depth in certain areas, new titlebar buttons, etc., but it could be done IMO. No time here to do it though, any takers? ;)

Nice desktop JC...every time i see a pink Cady though, i break into song...
