Title says it all.... anytime I try to connect to a custom/pantheon game it always says "Cannot connect to a NAT facilitator. Please try again later." Any help??

I got something like NAT failed or similar occasionaly. Very rare though.
no idea why?
Rebooted router and didn't happen again.
Probably hamsters?
I read somewhere someone posted that Demigod uses ports 6000-6200?? maybe that has something to do with it?
If you are getting the error 100% of the time, then its a firewall issue on your side that's blocking your connections (eg you can't communicate with the servers on the ports you need to). This can also happen if there is a problem with the Stardock servers. But if that's the case, I can guarantee you'll see other posts on the forums indicating that an outage is going on. Odds are that's not your problem.
why do we need stardock servers when the game goes into player to player connections?
If we need them, why dont they host the games?
NAT (Network Address Translation) is what your router does to route IP packets from the outside world ('internet') to your local (LAN-side) network, and visa versa. Basically, it changes the IP address in the IP packet headers. Routers generally run some-unix-distribution-or-other as their Operating System and often have BUGs in their network stack. So it sounds like you ran into a software BUG in your router firmware which will require a reboot to correct.

(edit: sorry, this was actually a response to the first reply in this thread which I'd thought was the OP)
The SD servers handle the lobbies and stat tracking.
Here's the solution from a different forum post: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/347837/page/3/#2197158
Also can be caused by people deliberately causing it to avoid a loss stat.
I wish they would then handle the game match fully and all of us to connect to them like clients.
