Saving favorites

Sigh. All I am trying to do is save the page of a skinner as a favorite. I get the following message:

 

Sorry, you currently do not have the appropriate access to use the add favorite skin function. In order to use this feature you must first activate your WinCustomize Personal Page.

To activate your WinCustomize Personal Page visit "Personal Site" tab in your settings. Once you have created your personal page you will then be able to add favorite skins to your site.

 

I uploaded some wallpapers so that I have one of those pages now, but still nothing it will let me save favorites to. The "My Site" link at the top of this page next to the search box is broken, so I don't know if that is where they mean. I've looked through my account and profile several times.  I'm such a newb, can you help me figure this out?

'Personal pages' are currently not available, thus cannot be set up.

Aw, guess I'll have to save favorites the old fashioned way... Well, at least I uploaded a wallpaper. I hope people like it. I have lots of photos, now I just need to learn how to do those fancy graphics.

I recently encountered this same problem.  If, as you say, Snowman, "Personal pages" are currently not available, then common sense would tell you that the "Add to Favorites" bar should not be 'currently available'.  Read as: revise simple site coding, instead of sending people to a false and untenable 'solution' page. :yes: :wc:

trouble with that is..... it works for me...  ;)

seems older members who have their Personal Pages set up....are still able to access these features..... it's just no longer available for newer members...
