Hi
Just been on here for a very short time and i am starting to spruce up my desktop for the festive season but can anyone help me where i can get these christmas trees with lights from off this screen shot of the Flashy Christmas?
He says you can get them off this site but so far no joy 
These are more than likely DesktopX Objects or Widgets. In order to download and apply them you will need software, in this case DesktopX.

and as Philly said, you will need DX installed. Gadgets, however, such as this https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/desktop_gadgets/296/ will run on their own. Look through the gadget gallery and you'll find a lot of Holiday stuff.
I notice you also have a windowblind (a skin applied with the program Windowblinds) in your screenshot.
I think it might help, since you are a current customer (4), to perhaps read up a bit about the programs, and such...
