It used to be possible, but now I believe you have to do it manually, piece by piece.
An MS themepack consists of sounds, walls and a modified color scheme for Aero.
Are you asking how to modify Aero into a wba? Well, that's what skinning is all about. However, a .theme file is an .ini text file that is divided into sections, which specify visual elements that appear on a Windows desktop. Section names are wrapped in brackets ([]) in the .ini file.
Your WindowBlinds 7 should have come with already Modified Aero themes.
You can read more about themepacks in the MS library: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb773190.aspx
Doc..... I'm sure he knows what a .theme is. ![]()
5 or 6 years ago we could import theme files directly into SKS. A feature no longer available.
That's what this is about.
There is the msimport app to import visual styles into windowblinds. I have it. Is this what he wants?
I don't think it imports win 7 aero themes though.
Does it still work with the latest versions of SKS?
If so, then it might be just the right tool for the job.
Well, I dunno. I use it to import skins into WindowBlinds, not SKS.
Sorry to interrupt -
joelore told Hankers and me he has no msstyles on his computer.

Well, how dare you interrupt us.....lol.
Thanks Doc!
I don't they are all .theme files.

How about you make a list of exactly what you're asking about and put it in your next reply?
I don't know how else to ask. I have a big list of Windows .theme files in my Windows-Resources-Themes folder like OnlyBlack.theme. If I apply that through the WIndows Persnalize window it turns the theme dark almost black. I want to know if there is a was to import that into WB 7 to use.
