no link to download Object desktop

I purchased Object Desktop a week ago and still have not been able to download it. Subscribed to impulsedriven.com and when i go to "my software" all I see is updates to a few software programs - not object Desktop download. I sent numerous support requests and the automatic responses do not work - if I get them. Probably clogged up the network with reply emails but I'm anxious to start using the software.  I bet it's probably a simple fix - wrong password, link, or maybe a system problem linking purchases to the website.  Something that would take a real person a minute to fix. I'm extremely frustrated and even sent emails to the CEO and VP of Operations - no response. Without adequate email response I'm resorting to call someone live at stardock - support just gets voicemail and so does sales. Punching in random extensions and leaving messages (again no live people) hasn't worked. Are there real people at Stardock?

This should just be a simple download. I've spent more than 12 hrs trying viewing forums and every page web i can find just to discover how to download this software to no avail.  Today I got an email from Stardock thanking me for my purchase and asking for my reveiw of the product (do not respond to this email in the message title)!

I'm sorry I'm human and have certain expectations about getting what I paid for - simply. I'm not a geek and might not be able to see what is obvious to some. It's now the weekend and I doubt I'll have any resolution. Does anybody know how to get in touch with this company to resolve such problems? Would like a real person. HELP!

Sorry for the drama. I'm the customer service manager for a large national retailer and our 800 customer service # rings right to my desk for resolution, and I am used to doing so.

I'll be quick to see if I can get you going-

There is no "Object Desktop" download literally.  It is a combination of several individual programs.  It sounds like you might already be seeing them as available for download on Impulse.  You should be able to download WindowBlinds and DeskScapes for example, along with several others.  Does that help?

And one note upfront - If you already have the trial version of WindowBlinds  installed, you need to uninstall that and reboot before installing your new paid version.

Well that's what I get for trying to be quick.  I saw "Impulse Driven" and read "Impulse".

The first thing you need to do is install Impulse available here: https://www.stardock.com/downloads/

I *think* it will prompt you for you email address that you used to purchase the software.  If not, you'll need to click on the 1st item in the top menu and select "login" and enter your email and password.

After that I believe the various programs should show within the "My Software" tab at the top.

I sent numerous support requests and the automatic responses do not work - if I get them.

Each time you send a support request your position in line for assistance goes to the back on the list as support requests are answered on a first-in first-out basis.

As DaveRI stated, there is no program called ObjectDesktop as it is a collection of several programs that will appear in your My Software tab in Impulse after you login with your Stardock.net login that was created when you purchased ObjectDesktop.

i was having the same problem, only it took me just a few hours to find this post. thank you for posting your problem and thank you to all the people that responded. i wish it was was stated a little more clearly that they come separately and that object desk top is a umbrella license. i got the impression that  it as an all in one program, that had all of the features of the other programs rapped into one neat package, like the original poster did.

well for me no harm no fowel thank you all again |-)

Glad you found this post as well. This webpage (https://www.stardock.com/products/) does show that the programs are separate, and are sold together or separately, but I do understand how one could think it came as a unified suite... although it's never called that... unlike "Security Suites".
