Backing Up Stardock Central, Object Desktop and everything else.

What is the most efficient way to backup everything? I keep my downloaded files on an external hard drive, in case of a virus or a hard drive crapping out in my computer. Do I just backup Program Files\Stardock folder? When I download programs from SDC, where are they kept, because I've noticed I do not have to run an .exe to get the program installed. Any info is appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Tip 1.. When you have a download window open, right click on one of the apps........ you'll see an entry for Archive/Restore.

Tip 2.. Click Tools.... Settings.... Advanced tab... and you can choose where your downloads, and backups are saved.

Yer welcome!

Koasati-

Thanks for the response, but I'm wondering where the programs go when you download them from Stardock Central. There is a meter telling you how much you've downloaded, but I don't know where it's going. If my computer crashes, do I just re-install Stardock Central, then download all the programs again from there?

They archive to C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP.......you can then backup that file to where ever you want.
