Push Buttons Help

I can't make regular push buttons

I made an .png in photoshop that had all 5 states of a push button side by side. I put it into SKS7 and it reads the picture and its perfectly lined up in the frame builder but it won't show up on the preview, or when I press test skin.

Can someone help me? I just got object desktop a few days ago and haven't figured everything out, so please don't assume that I know anything when answering this.

Thanks

Which button are you doing specifically?

How exactly did you put it in SKS? Did you use the 'import' button (right next to the 'edit image' button)?

You might want to check out the Winustomize Wiki for some info too. http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/Category:Tutorials

The button is under edit controls and its called push button such as ok/cancel commands on windows. I am importing by using the import from png to tga button on the list arrow menu next to edit image.

Thanks for the quick reply!

please dont use the frame builder to import stuff ect, just import the button through the edit image button, that frame builder gives nothing but headaches, and I for one dont even know what its there for, have never used it, and never will, but those that tend to, get problems.

and i agree with xiandi, yr best bet if yr a beginner is to read the skinstudio tutorials on the wiki, i made one especially for beginners, in laymens terms so newbies could understand it.

I didn't import through frame builder, I imported through the import button next to edit image. I did that because it turns pngs into tgas.

Well, at this point then, I think it needs to be looked at.......it's hard to give advise when you can't see it. If you want, you can email it to me and I'll have a look at it. My email is: xiandilee (at) yahoo (dot) com
