Introduction

The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the SoaSE Universe.

It keeps the original races, the TEC, Advent and Vasari who are still to be found building and battling as usual.

All of the new races are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses.

Use jdownloader or DownThemAll (firefox plugin) to download files if you're concerned about corruption.

also use winrar 3.8(or later) or 7zip (9.20 or later) as windows zip file management does NOT know how to read the files, and that the file size is 493mb (standard) or 494mb(expansion).

I know ... and I did test the Diplomacy links also. I had to download one twice ... so IskatuMesk gives good advice, as sometimes sh.. happens with downloads, it all depends on the server and network connection - i.e their traffic.

You can also try downloading at the 'ModDB Website' or 'Strategy Informer Website' (links above), I have found them more robust.

can you use the current mod for the new rebellion update? I wanted to ask before trying to install into the new rebellion 1.5 mod folder and have the game not work

It doesn't say it is compliant, so, no.  Besides, many research files have added values on them now (related to DLC ID numbers).

How'd you add the DLC ID to all the research files?  Did you get a program, or did you do it by hand?
