newbie confusion

Hi!!

i am new here and am confused abt two things

>there are two categories of bootskin -> Bootskin and Bootskin Xp . If i make bootskins for Win Xp should i upload it to Bootskins Xp or both

>I uploaded two bootskin yesterday under bootskin xp but today they were no longer showing so i reuploaded them under bootskin category. I did have a feeling that they might have been rejected but did not get any notification for the same , so the re-upload .

 

Any clarification on this would be helpful!!

Your submissions are probably in moderation. That's why they aren't showing yet.

 

To answer the first question:

 

Xp bootskins should be uploaded to Bootskin XP

The other catagory is for Vista Bootskins

now they have disappeared again . they are not even showing up on my skin list where they show the status my uploads in a list :(

lot easier to submit on other sites

ok i just received the notifications now .. It turns out they did not meet the guidelines. Since they are accepted at other similar sites i will upload there itself as there seems to be too many issues here

Sometimes that just means the preview picture wasn't large enough or something. There was no specified reason given in the rejection mail?

Im a noob to this site as well, and for lack of better interpretation am not a computer tech. I was wondering if anyone can help me with a question I have about windowblinds. I loved this "guild wars windowblind" made by BoXXi.  I tried to download it but it didn't take. 

Are there any instructions for how to download and put to use these "windowblinds"?

First you need to have the WindowBlinds program installed before you can use the Guild War blind.

You can also get information here on WindowBlinds from the WinCustomize Wiki.
