New Code Geass Material!

New Anime/Manga to be released soon!

Alright, so, I think it's fair to say that everyone here is a bit excited about the return of one of our favorite anime series.  Let me start off with the Manga.

The name of the new Manga is (in theory, my Japanese/English is a bit off) Code Geass:  Renya of the Darkness.  This manga will take place in the Edo era of Japan.  The main character is a man who has a robotic arm which can fire 100 Shuriken, and a recurring character from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion will be C.C.  There will also be a Lelouch Look Alike in the Manga.

The new Anime, which is called Code Geass Gaiden: Bokoku no Akito (Couldn't translate this one yet), will take place in the same year (about) as Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and will revolve around a Brittanian Knightmare Frame Combat unit in Europe made of recruits from Area 11 who's assignment is to retrieve another, all Brittanian unit that was left behind in a retreat from E.U. Forces.  They are given a 5% survival rating.  We have yet to know how Geass will relate here, since both V.V. and C.C. were in Japan at the time, therefore any Geass here would have to be pre-existing.

Theories?

Ideas?

Comments?

Concerns?

That's why I made this post, duh.

I don't know about everyone, though there are a surprising number of fans on the Sins board at least.

Well, I've checked the show out, and it effectively doesn't exist in Britain. I know that the bad guys are based in America, but it's called the BRITTANIAN Empire. You'd think that would merit us limeys a run of the series... Even if I fail to see the logic behind an America-based Brittanian Empire...

err.. most anime shows aren't run in the U.S. either.  It's a Japanese thing.  The people who watch them in the U.S. torrent them or purchase the dvd's either overseas or from their local comic book store.

I believe in Code Geass England lost the Battle of Trafalgar and the Royal Family had to flee to the New World or something like that.
