Making Animations in CursorFX

Making Animations in CursorFX

Hello,

I am trying to make some animated cursors but when I open AniUtil, click new job and try to open the files nothing happens.

Is there a tutorial explaining what to do to make a strip?

make sure you are numbering your animations correctly, sounds stupid but for aniutil it has to be done, 01 to 09 then from 10 onwards. if you dont put a 'zero' in front for the single digets it acts weird. also animations in cursor fx have a limit of 120 frames, anymore than this and it wont work and could shut down too.

cant think of any other reasons why it would shut down....other than those two, hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not really having any trouble in Aniutil.

Just when I'm assigning the cursor states in CursorFX.

It's quite frustrating since I embraced this program and was having so much fun.

I'm actually addicted :>)

hmm, its a bit of a voilent solution, but maybe uninstall and redownload the program.......something might have happened somewhere and its not playing ball.......

Yes, I already tried that. It was ok for about five minutes and then started shutting down again. Such a sad mystery. :(

What about those trails? I downloaded a bunch of them but it says to put it in the trails folder. However when I go into the program files I don't see a folder that says trails at all.

Just go to your CursorXp folder under programs...if that's the one you have (guessing it's the same for FX)...and make a folder called Trail and dump them in there...and then you can make some trails out of just about any image you find...even this guy --- > ;)
