I tried that but I can only change how the terror star looks nothing ealse also I thought about warhammer 40k but star wars is my next goal.

yes, i know terror star is not really moddable... you can change the look a bit according to each race °w°

it would be "classy"

nuoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo star waaaars

this is killing meeeeeeeeeeeee

Very much so.  Though now that I've verified a few concepts and solved a few dilemmas, I'm pretty focused on my current modding efforts at the moment.  One downside to modding, it doesn't leave you any time to enjoy the thing you're trying to mod, or anything else for that matter.

sometimes thats how modding is it comes with the territory :borg:

FOXY BORGHY O.O

uh... i know i already asked you in pm... but...

i'm a bit, mmm, backward with the game itself and the modding thing... so i've a newbie question...

is docking possible? (if the question is not neat watch my pm...)

i mean... the publisher is STARDOCK and they did NOT implemented docking capabilities ANYWHERE??? XD

i had already experience with sins of a solar empire... people told me a REAL death star is not possible to be properly created due to the fact DOCKING of SHIPS in to a MOBILE starbase is not possible o.O EVEN if you somewhere manage to give appropriate scale o.o

I doin't think so but i will look into this.

I would think not the literal docking, no...but technically, setting your ships in orbit of a planet is the game mechanical equivalent of docking.  It's just...can that trait be granted to starbases, and done without the graphical representation of ships orbiting it?

That, I'm not sure about.

well that would be awesome tharios... but i guess giving the planetary docking/orbiting trait to another thing is probably possible as the proper docking i suggested ._., cool idea however, and maybe i'm wrong about its implemantation o.o

foxy finish this moood XD

Only way i have seen this done to any degree was to change the planet texture for your homeworld to that of the deathstar. Then it kinda looks like you have a functioning base to dock your ships in. However i have never seen any other way to do an actual ship that you can dock with. That goes back to the 'carrier' wish that many of us had but was never implemented by stardock.

I'd guess it's a safe bet then that it's not possible to grant starbases and such the trait that allows ships to orbit planets.  Unfortunate, but expected.

im trying its alot of work doing it by myself but when its done you guys better cry when you play it.

I'm curious... In one of your first posts, you mentioned a number of non-playable custom races. How did you get them to be non-playable? I've been trying that myself with no luck.

I didn't do it at first on of the other stargate members did I just took what they did in copy and paste than changed it to what i needed. So if you have first mod just copy and paste its in the custom race folder.
