Helping noobs

Helping noobs

I've been creating "Noob Training" rooms where the goal is to attract noob players to a room who want to learn from a decent player (myself) without fear of being kicked out of the room or being whined at for being a noob. So far I've hosted a few of these and they met with great success, with many of the noobs asking tons of questions and me sharing everything I know with them. It confers a very friendly gaming experience as well as encourages noobs to stick with the game.

I highly encourage some more veteran players to do the same thing as I am to help give the noobs a hand.

A Great Idea; however, usually newbs just want to play in any game given.. It is when they get kicked several times they look for "noob games"..

So, my proposition is not to kick them at the first place... wait till another beginner joins the game; this way the game will be balanced.

Or, another player who doesn't care playing in the same team with a newb (like Darkliath, me and others) might accept an "unbalanced'' game and guide the new guy throughout the game.

Just by participating in few "pro" games, new players can become really good in few weeks...
