Multiplayers that Exhibit Inappropriate Behavior

Since P5y's post on AFK'rs has been nuked, I thought I would take a different tack and create a thread that documents complaints against individuals that exhibit certain traits.  This is in an effort to make them accountable for their actions of unsavory, rude, or just inappropriate behavior, especially when it results in prolonging an otherwise decided contest.

The following infractions shall be noted (with prejudice):

  1. AFK during game, particularly END GAME.
  2. Refusal to concede when game is over.
  3. Ignoring allies, or uncommunicative during game.
  4. Irascible attitude in general, but especially towards newer players.
  5. Repeated "questionable" mini-dumps.

Arguably this type of behavior deserves punishment, and the ideal preference would be to impose restrictions on their account, but in the absence of someway to strip, or suspend the offending party of play privileges, this at least offers some recourse to those victimized by the offenders.

Please submit the offending players name, smurf name, or substantiated identity, and if possible corroborate their offending actions with supporting posts.

Submit and/or Corroborate, (Supporting Posts will be Noted) - Also, a cited player may now refute their posting with their comments noted.

  1. chose - He is a notorious endgame malingerer, often saying his 5 year old has been playing or that his mouse won't work- extremely argumentative and obnoxious.
  2. KKrazy - Known for leaving games AFK.
  3. Cpt Glorius - AFK'r and insolent to teammates and opponents alike.
  4. Ronin 56 - More than one account of accepting substatial feed then quitting in the face of questionable opposition.
  5. Black Sword Command - More than once has entered a game and gone completely afk from the beginning. (refuted by BSC saying, he "...rarely goes afk...")
  6. {SB}=>Ferdie - Established reputation of over the top expansion/entrench/endgame blackmail style of never quitting.
  7. Abaddon Xerxes - 2 player requests to post him for minimizing/quitting.
  8. chowdown - Obstinate "come and get me" end-game posture in a losing performance where he refused to quit. (replay provided).
  9. St. Joseph - Stayed in a game after everyone on his team gg after alomst 2 hours.  Put SB's everywhere, then proceeded spouting bible verses saying he was a righteous Saint in the eyes of God and everyone should bow down before him.  Game ended 3.54.
  10. Champ_1 - Documented with replay - endgame blackmail/lagfest griffer.

As I said, he has been kicked for several months when reborn was still active.  It was before I was made leader.  I have yet to remove anyone to my recollection although I got close once. 

 

They should be scared of me.  Muahahahahah  }:)

Point of the matter is the people on this list have more often than not PISSED YOU OFF. no one else here would have even THOUGHT of a thread such as this. therefore its a personal vendetta against those who have "wronged" you in your sight. therefore it is bias. and therefore a bash.

Anyone on here just for refusing to quit should be removed.  That's just an annoyance, not being unsportsmanlike.  It is very possible to dig in and come back, even under a seemingly immpossible situation.  And this thread is starting to reach the questionable stage people have predicted...if it keeps going that way, i see being locked in its future after all...

I nominate Abaddon Xerxes for the list.  I have seen him minimize his Sins window and leave the game when his team is losing, forcing the winning team to knock down all of the losing team's planets.

I have seen Abaddon do this as well.  Most people that are mentioned for this are not those that think they can dig in and still win.  It wouldn't generally be mentioned unless someone just went afk or something and left it running to grief you into having to kill ALL the enemy.

Master of overstating the obvious there BSC, of course it PISSES ME OFF when players selfishly foul the gaming experience, but your incorrect sir about the originality of this thread; There have been several similar posts regarding "early warning lists etc."

Vendetta, crusade, grudge, whatever the phuck you want to call it.  Of course it's from a personal perspective!  Asinine behavior affects everybody, but it is PERSONALLY motivating to want to take some kind of action.  Irresponsible personalities that flagrantly ignore common courtesy and ethical gamesmanship do so at the expense of everyone.  Because I choose to make an effort to provide some sort of accountability, that doesn't make me a hater.

I can't say I've ever had a problem with {SB}=>Ferdie and I don't have a problem with him. At least he plays the game often and helps keep our player counts up. However, from what I can tell, whatever he's done, he sure has antagonized a number of people.

More or less.  He and Elrosh antagonized me a little bit by trying to put all of the blame for the loss on me after the outcome had pretty much already been decided, but I never take that sort of thing real seriously.  I dont think I've had problems with him quitting games in a timely manner.

they both would not quit even after they had been beaten by a huge amount. our team had top 2 fleets and we owned about 3/4s of the map.

They dragged it on so long that i had to go do somthing in my real life, unfortunatly leaving my allies to deal with their jerk behaivor.

Good for him!  Another player responding to feedback!  (and by the way, it was more than one game he "quit").
Also to make this list fair your should have to show a replay otherwise you will add things that may not be right.
That's actually not a bad idea to support.  Still, one or more players with corroborating accounts will suffice.

Joe S may be a smurf, but chowdown has about 130 games so he is just a person to stay away from.

i had to quit early because somethign in real life called, but you can see that chowdown was admitting to losing and that he was just being a jerk because Joe. s wanted him to. We had the top 2 fleets and my fleet easily took out 100 illums and later 29 advent carreirs with minimal losses. THey new that they had no hope of winning and we were pushing on all sides.

now i have played with minds he knows when he has lost and leaves i have played with minds, ronin, and BSC  and i have never had a problem with them

There were actually games I saw over the course of a couple of days that were titled something like "5v5 no St. Joseph".  Apparently, he has made a real name for himself.
