This should really come in handy for Oculus mana restore ability.

this is fantastic.  Awesome for pugs when ppl dont communicate their mana... awesome for premades even if u have voice you can see exactly the mana and items teammates have.

Couple suggestions I'd like to see added to this:

  • have boxes that stay on the screen permanently (liek right above the abilities / consumable slots) so that you don't have to hover over
  • Make it so you can then click an ability and target a teammate through that box (i.e. heal)
  • Add gold to the box

I agree with RAWRRRR. Make it an option for them to be permanently displayable. It would be AMAZING if we could target Demigods with abilities by clicking on the box.

My own suggestion is to remove the box when the mouse is over your own Demigod. We already know our own stats. :)

Pretty cool, although I did notice that when I had Slayer Wraps the rollover displayed the icon for Gladiator gloves instead...

Looks nice :) Will try it our later.

Yay it's me!

And thx for this cool mod, will try it out later today :).

Yes this works. Some of the glove icons default to gladiator gloves though.

Thanks! I'll check out this glove issue out right now.

Note to all. Have played in multiplayer with this enabled and it works. Very informative. Forgot to thankyou chirmaya.

Thanks for the help, all! I got that small issue with the incorrect images resolved!

Thanks for the suggestion, Epiphenomenon. Just added the "non-showing of the popup when you are looking at your own Demigod" to the mod!

I've just peered into the HUD_rollover.lua file and noticed that you used the # for comments. Shouldn't comments in lua code be indicated by "--" instead?

I am pretty sure that they do the same thing essentially. Perhaps certain programs format them in different ways, I am not too sure. personally, I use '--' for descriptive comments and '#' for commenting single lines out, and the '--[[ blahblah ]]--' for blocks of text. Maybe '#' is just faster since it is a single character. Me no know =3

Are you prevented from accessing the health and mana information from those on the other team?  i'm wondering if this mod could be hacked to show you information you shouldn't have access to or does the game itself protect that info?  I'm hoping that the game itself protects against that... otherwise it would be far too powerful to know that the enemy sed has no Mana!

Cheers,

^Yep, I'd like to know this as well.  It would be better if this was restricted to friendly demigods.

Yeah, the game protects against it. Your UI doesn't have access to that info of the enemy ^_^

Shouldn't be an issue if you use a proper archiving tool ;).

i use winrar... they often put out free, legal nonshareware versions.  To each his own, though.

Chirmaya - 3 questions:

  1. is the .rar file at the top the latest version?
  2. Can you change your op so that its clear when you make a new version?
  3. Can you share any additional information on how you've made this mod, etc?  You're calling different assets and I'm not sure how you know what BLANK, etc, is.

Thanks!  Winner of the first usuable DG mod :)

Everyone has a proper archive tool, it's called windows explorerer and it views .zip files fine.

At least this isn't as bad as the time there was some other file that was literally 200k uncompressed and someone put a rar in it and I had to download some annoying archive program to use it. I just don't get why someone would archive a single file that isn't over a meg nowadays.
