explorer opacity

I got a problem. It seems like for some unknown reason my windowblinds just won't display explorer opacity at all. If I change it, the explorer background color just becomes gray or black. I'm using windows 7. A friend is using the exactly same OS and the same windowblinds version and doesn't have any problems displaing explorer background opacity.

check yr transparency and blur settings in windowblinds, sometimes clicking "vistarize me" in that same section also helps.

I can't find transparency and blur under windowblinds system settings. If you mean the skin default Transparency settings, I tried those already didn't work.

I don't have any other problems with transparency. Aero works just fine and even some other 3rd party programms use aero in my UI

setting the explorer background opacity is a feature of the program "windowblinds"

This program can change virtually every element of the windows graphical user interface by applying new skins downloaded from the internet or self edited ones.

WindowBlinds is more like your chauffeur and the car he drives are the WindowBlinds skins. If you're looking to customize something with a particular skin or start creating a skin from scratch, you will want to take a look at SkinStudio(link)
