November game. Did I miss something?

I sort of liked the threads about the potential new 'game of the month' last few months.
I haven't seen a November release yet (with WWII:Frontline command being the October game). Does anyone have any idea as to what and when the next game will be?

There was a hope it'd be a GalCiv 2 beta but I think that was optimistic (to put it mildly). The new-game-a-month until the end of the year mentioned when we signed up has lapsed somewhat and I must admit while personally I'm not that put out I'm surprised there aren't more people making a noise about it. I wonder just how many Totalgaming subscribers there are?

I guess that there is a small problem with month calculation. Since WWII front line commande was available at the beginning of novemeber, it should be considered as the november game

As we have had to do in the past, give them a little time. I am not to worried as it turns up eventually, this of course its still annoying due to the grand promises in our sign up to the service.

On the whole I am very happy with the service and love the games.

Yes, but we are still one month behind, looking forward to latest.

I've heard that there will be no November or December games, but this should not be taken as official.

hmm, in that case I'm hoping they make up for it later next year. But I would like to get 12 games on average in a year.
Then again I would prefer a monthly game even more. It's just fun to see 'what game will I play this month

I too am disappointed at the promise that was made and not sticking with it but I have faith in Stardock that they will come through. With that said though I am waiting on pins and needles for Novembers game.

However, if its true that there will be no November or December games then that is somewhat upsetting as a game per month for the first 6 months was there big hook line to get people to sign up to TGN.... I realize they're working their tails off getting the GalCiv2 Beta ready but nothing kils an emerging company more than empty promises.

We have the games, don't worry they're going up.

We've already put up The Political Machine (August), Robin Hood, and now World War II. We're just trying to catch our breath. The good news is that the games themselves are ready. It's an infastructure issue. So they will be coming!

I think it's a bit harsh to use the phrase "empty" promise. There have been updates to Galactic Civilizations also during this time and we have other games coming out in the next several weeks on TG.NET. We've already delivered several new games onto it this year. That's pretty far from empty.

Thanks Frogboy for making an official announcement about this. I think thats all we really wanted, besides the games that is

I apologize if the phrase "empty promise" went a bit too far but I made that statement based on this statement made Tuesday July 20, 2004 by Stardock Central here http://totalgaming.stardock.com/forums.asp?MID=141&CMID=141&AID=21858

"Stardock then plans to add a new game each month for the rest of the year starting with The Political Machine in August."

August - The Political Machine
September - Robin Hood
October - World War II (released by TGN in early November )
November -
December -
January - GalCiv2 Beta

I think all we were looking for here was an announcement from someone official that said, "hey, we're a little behind due to these issues but the games are coming as promised" and the issue is completely snuffed out before it even becomes one. With that, I apologize again for the "empty promises" remark and thank you for your response.
