Additional Hash detection in Demigod executable

Can someone confirm that the new build run a Hash check on the dgdata.zip file and no longer can mount a directory with that name.

If so who's idea was it to impliment that before modding support was included.

Honestly is there a command line function to remove that hash check.

yes this could be seen as annoying, however moving your shadow files to a new directory called /mods/ will do the same job, and make patching easier.

I will update the dgmod.com repro and post a guide tommorrow.

This annoys me. How can this be avoided?

Did you ever post that guide Malard999?

The demigod.exe always ran a hash check on dgdata.zip.  That's what the /allowmismatch switch is for right?

Also, you can binary edit the demigod.exe if you needed to.  The MD5 hash sum is stored in plain text, just search for the one it expects, and replace it with the one you want.

BTW looks like dgmod.com is no longer registered, I hope that changes!
