Is this the cloth map only beta, or did that (alpha?) already happen?

Of course the cloth map will be in the main game as well, just only when you're zoomed out.  However there will be a slider to let you choose at what zoom the change from 3D to 2D happens, so you could theoretically play the finished game on cloth map if you so wish (I know this from watching PAX videos).

Can't wait 'till next week!
Uh...completely out of context. Next week I get my XBox back and can finally play Batman:AA.

Frogboy - What are you guys doing!

BoogieBac - Oh hi Brad, have you seen this new batman ga

Frogboy - If we don't release the Elemental Beta soon we will have people flying out here to attack us. The Alpha invites took care of the real crazies but our remote location will only protect us for so long. I am taking away your xbox!

BoogieBac - *cries*

Frogboy - You can have it back when the Beta is out and not a moment sooner. *leaves*

Frogboy in office with door shut - *hooks up xbox* Finally I can play that new batman game!

Chadeo:  Its not the remote location that protects them but the roads... :P

EDIT - Wow that sad face looks ALMOST as sad as I am.  (At least I updated Impulse now)

Not according to ISO 8601. But then again no one is using that.  ;P

Mmm, not the rain on your parade, but a lot of people consider Monday the first day of the week. (because Sunday is the day of rest in Christianity, and a lot of societies have historical ties to Christianity)

Last I checked, when you open up a calender, whether it be on a phone, in outlook, or traditional paper one, the weeks start on Sunday.

On all mine its Monday

Well, not in most of Europe. We conform to the ISO standard.

Plus, most folk consider monday the beginning of the workweek.

My callenders also start on Mondays.

I live in the States, and every calendar I've seen starts on Sunday. Which doesn't particularly make sense, since America is about as Christian-inspired as you can get outside of the Vatican and it seems like you would want to end your week on the day of rest, not start it.......... for me, though, the week starts on Tuesday, b/c that's when the new Warehouse 13 episode comes on.

In most computer calendars nowadays the start of the week is configurable. Also, the Java Calendar class looks at your location to determine what day is the first day of the week. Sundays for US, Mondays for Europe :)

Where is Stardock located? That's what I thought.

On the upside, he said 'next week', which doesn't necessarily mean the first day of the week. So the last day will now be saturday instead of sunday, meaning it will be here earlier than you previously thought :P

Michigan.

Well if Stardock doesnt release the beta soon im going to be forced to conquer Michigan then. Unfortunatly for North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconson you are between me and my quarry and I will have to conquer you as well. I apologise for the inconvience, but as your new overlord I promise that there will be song on every lip, a drink in every hand, and an Elemental beta on every PC. Ill also be taking your firstborn daughters.

what if I told you my firstborn daughter was butt ugly and at some point changed between daughter and son?  Did I mention he clingy personality?   She'd be nagging you by your throne every day.

But seriously... I don't think you'd be able to take over Michigan.  Have you forgotten Michigan contains the slums of Detroit?  You'll be shot for sure.

Ill take what I can get Landisaurus, and as for Detroit, im sure my loyal minions from North Dakota will take a couple of bullets for me. They are good like that.

You're not looking at favorable odds if you're going to rely on the survivors of North Dakota to take out Detroit.

Population

North Dakota - 641,481
Detroit - 912,062

Well, he can draft reinforcements from Minnisota and Wisconsin to assist. Although I'm not too sure how well the US government will take the formation of a dictatorship on its border.

See...DoomBringer has faith, he can be my second in command, as a reward I will give you your choice of wench and most of Wisconson. (I really didnt want it anyways)

but as a failsafe I will need an inside agent to persuade Detroit to join my cause, I would like this campaign to go quickly and with little to no conflict, (if everyone dies there wont be anyone to buy the game). Any volunteers?
