I just bought the game today and the install is going so incredibly slow its rediculous. It also lags my computer as it takes a good minute to re==even recognize the DVD. Is this a known issue, a problem with my PC or a problem with my copy of the game? I don't know what to do and it is rather frustrating. It is still on 1% and takes about 5 minutes per .dds
Now it "finished the install" at 1% and gives this error when i try to start the game.

Obviously it did not install basically 99% of the files. What am I suppose to do? It acted like it finished the install and I must uninstall to get it to allow me to try again but it does the same thing.
Likely you've either got a bad disc or there's some sort of incompatibility with your drive. The simplest solution, if it's an option for you, would be to just register your cd-key and download the entire game via Impulse.
