Game not starting

just recently installed demigod, however after the install and activation the game wont start at all, i reinstalled it, even dl it off impulse server but it still dosnt work.

I got the same problem.i have downloaded the patch for the game and a new driver for my geforce 8800 GT card.But absolutly nothing happens when i try to run the game.Absolutly nothing at all.Not even an error.Could it be the driver for my soundcard?That "sounds" hilarious but....
