Demigod randomly crashes mid game... without an error...

Same happened to me... once with a Runtime Error and once it simply closed the game without doing nothing...

It just happened to be 2 times in a row... and I've only played 2 games today... 1 was with the normal version, 1 with the beta version.

3 times in a row... I played all yesterday without any crashes... now... cant get through a single game.

Looking at my account on the Pantheon, NONE of the games with these crashes are getting recorded... maybe the match itself crashed?

Just happened to me too.  Beta version.

Yup just today it happend, i was just in the middle of a game and bam instantly back to desktop, no error, no freeze, just bam... desktop. Currently on beta version and my specs are above recommended. I havent had the problem till recently.. maybe i would have had it befor but its hard to tell when i couldnt get in a game

omg, that is happening to others too?  I had no idea.  Same here, but I thought it was some kind of virus on my computer.  Just drops to desktop out of the blue, but the computer seems just fine after that.

yeah nothing is wrong my computer virus/adware wise. I think this may be happening to more ppl than we know. Sound off guys or at least bump

Check to make sure you're using the most up to date version of DirectX.  You can update here:

yup 9.0 c if i am not correct, like i said befor this only started happening recently. I just dont want this bug to give my account a bad reputation for leaving games

Just crashed to desktop without any error. First time it happens to me.

Same situation here, just got booted in the middle of a game, no detailed error message other than it black screening and saying that Demigod closed with an error.

This just happened again. Two games in a row now all of a sudden. Ran a bootable ram tester and hotcpu tester last night. running off to go use 3dmark, but I'm really leaning towards it's a software problem since my hardware has been checking out AOK, and so many of the other games I play use so much more of the these resources. Game shut down from in game, to straight to desktop, no error or anything, all of a sudden just desktop.

on top of my specs above, games i have played on normal to full settings recently problem free: gears of war, command and conquer 3, earth 2150, assassin's creed, and frontlines fuel of war. these games are all much more graphics/cpu intensive and play fine with no crashes.

edit: i also run DG on the lowest settings possible due to fear of lag.

that is exactly what i'm worried about, especially in this community.

Hello demigod guys/gals, i understand your busy but i can no longer play w/o getting kicked off. With such a small community im afraid my account will be blacklisted. If anyone has any crash logs or mini dumps from this (I believe a .dmp file may be placed in the demigod folder after a crash), please make sure to send them on to support so they can be investigated.

nothing pops up... no error log or anything just instantly sends you to your desktop like nothing was ever opened. Is there a way to get an error log or report it?

No dump files or anything when it crashes.  It's going to be hard to track this bug without more information.  GPG may have to get an update in just to be able to gather more info for folks who are crashing.

getting the same problem. I did get an error log on one and sent it to stardock though. Was an exception access violation.

i'm sure a lot of people have tried this already, but after all the recent patching i decided to just do a clean install of the game. after reinstalling I haven't had this issue pop up again yet, but it didn't happen that often anyways and it's only been a day. anyone reinstalled and still have this problem?

Why I am not surpized to see 23 "dittos" on a message like this. Yeah, this game has randomly dropped me from everything from single player to trying to enter the pantheon.
