Soda (or pop) wars!

<!-- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->

OK, let us steal the thunder from all the piracy/science/Star Trek®/religion/Star Wars®/politics/you're gay/real life/pop culture/crazy/flame war threads and generate a massive amount of web traffic/thread postings about this completely pointless waste of time and space "Off-topic" topic:

Soda wars!

The object: Pit the sodas (or pops) I mention against each other in a Sins-esque battle using the following criteria;
No politics/religion, no real world sales figures, no real world taste comparisons, no cross over faction warfare, and no waste of thread space. Try to use your imagination and tell us why one soda should defeat another based on your opinion only. For instance, Coca-Cola has a much cooler marquee on its can, therefore its capital ships can defeat Pepsi shields rather easily. Yes, it makes no sense, really, but it is much better than a bunch of dorks quoting scripture from Star Wars novels or any other book for that matter.

The factions:

Coca-Cola vs. Pepsi
Sprite vs 7-up
Mtn Dew vs Mellow Yellow
Dr. Pepper vs Mr. Pibb
Orange Crush vs Slice
Squirt vs Fresca
Green River vs ..... uh water (Green River sucks)

i must say that green river wins  versus water. Green river wins as a resutl of its supporters who hate water. Waters' empire is filles with secret agents of Green river that sabotage the Water ships before they go out. whenever water gets into a fight their ships shields go down and their engine explodes. >:)

I would argue the opposite. Water wins versus Green River because the G.R. empire has little to no supporters, you really can't find it anywhere, and water is, well EVERYWHERE! Much like the Russians vs Germany, just keep throwing people at the enemy and they will fail, or run out of ammo.

frankly, since i created this thread, imo, Jones Soda is overpriced and not worth it.

Jones Soda is overpriced but its still good.

Sorry for stealing your thread, EviliroN.

But I still love Jones Soda. Blue Bubblegum and Crushed Melon are my favorite flavors.

Cola products such as Coke and Pepsi own Tea and water... simply because the sugar acts like a nano-disrupter, slowly but surely degrading and rotting the enemy drink bottle. Using a complex algorithm of carbs and caffeine, the enemies bottle will also overload from crazyness and laughter, spouting off obscenities and then exploding in a mess of tea and water everywhere. Energy of this high of concentration simply cannot be contained within such a small space.

Yeah.x_x   Those were actually a prank, I think.

Anyway, 7-Up would pwn Sprite because 7-Up is all natural, ans Sprite is full of chemicals. So the 7-Up guys wouldn't even have to fight, they'd just call in a haz-mat team to have the Sprite guys carried off to Area 51.O:)

politics/religion,

How would those fit into a debate about soda, exactly?

or you could say that Sprite would win because they would use chemical warfare and wipe out the all-natural hippy ass 7-up faction.

(that is how you use politics in a soda war)
