Concept sketch for a dragon start-button

I was sitting here doodling on a piece of paper. Got into doing some sketches for a dragon-style WB. After completing this startbutton design, I seriously consider abandoning the project. It will take me a year to just create a basic mockup....

I had no idea I could draw anything like this... And another silly thing is that I was originally aiming for minimalistic... :P

I'd abandon that now while you still have a life.  That there would be a huge undertaking.

Having said that . . I'd love to see a paper and pencil style skin.

LOL...but an artistic pencil/charcoal type sketch theme would be super...as would a crayon type child's drawing theme would also be...for the kiddies. :)

Have you seen teh Xion skin I did?   I tried to convince IRB to do a whole skin in the same style and failed.

I'd be happy to work with another skinner to get it done.

No...and I was thinking of Miriam when I wrote that....How cool would a crayon skin be? Like...Vista Crayola Edition. I bet kids would love that. I bet Tim could make a beauty...for his sweety.  :sun:

 

*edit...just saw it. Wasn't that for the ZubaZ skin? Bet you could recolor it. Plas-Fan makes a nice kid's skin too. John did a great job.

I've always loved sketchy designs. It's hard to get it right though, because it's tricky to get a dynamic repeating sketch texture to look good.
