uh, did you already register the serial number?  if so then just download again.

Its a good habit to register your seriel number.   If you didn't register it or write it down or anything. then yes.  you'll have to get another copy.

You can install Impulse and use that to get your game back. Impulse is basicly the same thing as Steam, a digital distribution system. As long as you have the serial, you should have no problem getting your game back.

Most games now a days have some way or another to get them back as long as you have proof of purchase; whether it be the box, a receipt, the serial, ect. Many come with services such as Impulse or Steam which let you redownload your game with no questions asked. Serial numbers are especially useful, since they are what is used to register a product with such services. So if you did not register before and have the serial number, register the game with Impulse and you will be able to download it.

Hey, if I have Impulse installed on my desktop, can I get it to install sins on my laptop, or do I need to buy again?

EDIT: nevermind, I'll just move it over to my laptop.

Stardock has previously stated you may install their games on any computer you use. Heck, they don't even mind if you use one copy for a LAN party.

Technically 1 copy per 2 people at a LAN party and it is to be removed when the 2nd person finishes I believe....

There really isn't any rule like that that anywere in stardock's stuff that I've seen.   That was microsoft's deal with Age of Empires (what a good idea too).    Blizzard, used to have their spawn software that was used for lan games.  I personally believe that playing with a friend or roommate is what I payed for, so I always feel something like 'spawns' or such should be allowed for PC, DS, PSP or other games.
