Entrenchment will not run *fixed*

I recently installed entrenchment on my computer, but i cannot get it to run at all. When i start it up it stays at a black screen and nothing happens so i have to kill it with task manager.

Comp Specs:

Core 2 Duo 8400

Nvidis Geforce 9800 GTX (latest drivers installed)

4 GB ddr2 800 RAM

Windows Vista 64 bit

Have a fresh install of Sins, update it first with the 1.12 patch released over three weeks back, then install the beta of Entrenchment. Mine works well. We have the same computer specs, except that my videocard is less advanced than yours-an 8800 gt.

Also, I learned that the MODS we've installed before could pretty much corrupt our installation of Entrenchment.

Ok i'll admit i didn't give it much time to start before (i'm impatient with my comp), so i left the black screen alone for about a full minute. At that time vista killed the app and told me it had stopped working. I hadn't installed any sins mods beforehand, but I'm going to just do a fresh reinstall and update it like Axe suggested.

I have the same problem running Vista 64.

My version of Sins was not completely up to date though ... will try install and update to 1.12 first. If Sins needs to be Version 1.12 it would be nice to get a warning first ( or update Sins to the required version automatically? ) ...

I had the same problem, I found an easier fix

go into your appdata folder (in vista its C:/users/*User Name*/appdata/local/ironclad games, in xp its something like C:/Documents and Settings/*username*/appdata/ironclad games) delete everything in all of the folders except for the contents of the settings folder,

It seems to have fixed my problem :D   NOW OFF TO ACTUALLY PLAY IT
