Ironclad and Stardock are pleased to announce that the beta for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment will begin Tuesday, December 16th.  Please note that all pre-orders will be charged tomorrow when the beta is made public.

Entrenchment requires the full version of Sins of a Solar Empire v1.12 and will only be available via Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com).  While the beta will be English-only, we expect the final release to be available in several other languages as well through cooperation with Kalypso.

Wow finally dude...I do have school and work tomorrow but on wednesday I get out of school at 1:00 and don't have to work. Can someone tell me what time it will be in Texas when the beta is released?

just wondering, what is the criteria for partaking in the beta?

 

and could you guys make some posts of all the stuff in it so I could know what 10$ is going for? i trust the frasers co. but i am just going off limited like heck christmas money. XD so yeah....and woooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Looks like I snagged the game at the right time. Still playing my first game but spent a good 3+ hours fighting it out vs 1 normal cpu and ai pirates last night and am having a blast! Best RTS I've played in a very long time. Quick question, if one were to preorder the expansion today, do they still get beta access?

Even if you buy the expansion after its release, you will get access to the beta.  It is an open beta to whoever purchases the expansion.  You just have to wait in line for all those who pre-ordered to get theirs first.:pout:
