Joining Beta after start

Will we be able to pre-order the game and join Beta once the Beta is already started, or will it be an invitation only for those who already pre-ordered before it started?

The beta will be in phases, phase one begins early september and lasts for about a month (a guess there..). If you preorder during this time you should be in the beta when phase 2 begins and so on through the phases. Thats all we know right now, hope it helps :)

I do have one more question for anyone who knows this. Do the phases start immediately after the other ends?

Based on past testing (beta) periods with Stardock, once you have entered the beta group (via pre-order) you may begin participating with the next beta release.  This is true regardless of whether it's beta 1 or beta 3 or any other release.

Once your participation as a beta member has begun it will continue without interruption.  There are no "stop" cycles of participation, only feature freezes for development to put a stake in the ground for the next release phase.

Quick answer. . . get in before Sept 5 (if the team stays on task :rolleyes: ) and you can play with us non-stop up to final release.

I've just pre-ordered in the hopes I can get into the beta, and I love digital distribution.  $52AU for a game is just so great!!!
